Room with a view. Of Kenny's bus, that is. The reason we stay at the Stonebriar. Although I don't have the pictures to prove it, the maid gave us a tour of his suite. Can you say, "My bum is on his bed, my bum is on his bed?" Hahahaha!
Prescient of things to come???? Nah, it was sprinkling and she forgot her rain poncho so she snagged a bag out of the nearest garbage can. The sisters are always innovative.

Tailgatin' with Kenny in the parking lot....

....not really, that's just a cardboard cutout. But I wanted you to see that our hair did look this good at one point in the day. But on the reconcert...Sharee did get to party with Kenny in the parking lot, for reals. And yes, I cried like a big baby that I wasn't there. How unfair is it that Brenda Haile, who isn't a Kenny fan, was there in my place? It was sad. And I'm thinking that I deserve some good karma in return. I mean, seriously, I could have bought a plane ticket back if I hadn't paid my tithing in May. JK. I know where my priorities are. But check this out....

This IS a real, working jacuzzi! How funny is that?! They had the bar behind us too. Billy Currington is right. People ARE crazy.

Gettin' a little rowdy before the concert. I look drunk and Sharee looks like she's in pain. Maybe I was singing. :)~

Lady Antebellum was first. They didn't dare come out from under the cover. Maybe they don't look as hot all wet. I think I might go see them in St George. Love their new song, "I Run".

Miranda Lambert. The girl's GOT GAME. She came out into the crowd with the rain and all. What a trooper. And she was worth every penny.

And finally Kenny singing to us in the rain. I can not put into words how it felt to be part of that concert. I know we were so wet that our fingers were pruney but I didn't even notice that until after we were in the car. It was a numinous experience. I hope nobody reads this and knows what that word means or they will think I am the crazy one. But I'm just saying.
So after the soggy but sexy Kenny concert (please see video below) we flew back to Las Vegas. Our plane was almost 2 hours delayed from Dallas so we missed our shuttle back to St. George. Oh well, rented a car and drove the Vegas strip a couple of times. We were so tired that we were a little crazed. We stopped to take pictures at the Vegas sign (something I've never done in 30+ years) and couldn't stop laughing. I'm sure the other tourists thought we were intoxicated. We made it home about 4 a.m. The next day we spent hanging out and recuperating. On Friday, Ray talked us into taking the 4-wheelers out......

Tour guide Rayzin.
He said, "I'll have you back by 5 p.m." Sharee bought that line....I knew better. But how fun was it to ride through town to the local DQ, shop for trinkets at the hardware store (no, it's not your ordinary hardware store), get gas, and then head out through the red sand and rocks of southern Utah and then race home. And I'm not kidding about the racing...I left Sharee in the dust. Hahaha! We had a BLAST! Even though Sharee did try to wreck at one point.

I'll give you one guess what Sharee's doing behind this bush....hahahahahaha!!!

Howlin' down the trail to beautiful vistas.

Sand Hollow Reservoir

Yeah. We'll be back by 5 p.m. Riiiiiight.

Mighty hunter! She killed a can.

Taking a picture of the three of us on the best ride ever! And thus concludes the 2009 Sisters and Kenny (and Rayzin) Tour. Woohoo!! Can't wait for next year!!
